| Shamrock came to us after he was found in a field by himself, unable to get up due to long toes and being foundered. He is 6-10 years old and has foundered in all 4 feet but is moving great now. He currently is barefoot but would need shoes if ridden. We don't know if he was ever broke to ride. He is a cute little bugger but is very opinionated (pony style). He does need a home with knowledge about founder to make sure it doesn't happen again as well as someone with time to teach him more respect. We do tranquilize him for the farrier which we didn't need to do when he first arrived. We believe with daily handling he would learn very quickly how not to have pony manners. Shamrocks page: http://www.dthr.org/Shamrock.htmWhen he arrived: Feel free to pm me with any questions.

| Awww, I want him. But with our rich pastures, he may founder again. | |

| The difference in him is wonderful. Ponies and their "'tudes". Ya gotta love them! | |

| Oh, what a doll! That second picture of his feet just about made me cry, though.
I'm so glad you found him! | |

| I so admire what you are doing for these beautiful horses. Shamrock as well as all your rescues are examples of how we can make a difference. You are truly their angel. |

| Monica, I looked at your website for things you need. How are you for halters, lead ropes, blankets and such? | |

| I so wish you were closer Moni.. There is something about this little guy that has captured my heart.. I would love to work with him to the point that he would be ready for someone else to do his under saddle training, and move him on to a good home.. I can see this boy being a beloved best friend for some lucky youngster.. sigh.. You need to move - that way I can come and help with the critters.. | |

| He is a cute little bugger and it kills me that he is just sitting here. Shamrock needs some more manners, we did see though that he is a quick learner! | |

| If you take a trip up here, drag him along.. we love to teach manners to cute little guys.. A month or so here would help him be much more placeable.. | |
